About Me

I've always been excited about design, but it was just recently that I realized I wanted to pursue it professionally. As a recruiter, I loved connecting with both clients and candidates, digging deeper into their needs, and discovering solutions that benefited both parties. However, I found my need for creativity was unfulfilled.

Through self-paced studying, I discovered my love for creating user-centered designs that solve real problems. I enjoy using design thinking and research to create intuitive, user-friendly experiences that help people achieve their goals. I'm energized to combine my skills in recruitment and background in theatre to design to create user experiences that not only look beautiful but also make a meaningful impact. I can't wait to see where this journey takes me and to continue growing in the ever developing field of User Experience.

I also love the theatre...

Since childhood, theatre has been my passion. Whether delivering a dramatic monologue as a Shakespearean villain, breaking into song as a quirky ingénue, or hopping around as "Charlie-in-the-box" from the Island of Misfit toys, I have always loved the character development process, and the art of storytelling. There is something truly magical about collaborating with cast and crew to create an immersive and engaging experience that transports the audience to a different world, if only for a few hours.

and I'm a runner...

Had you told teenage Sarah that she would develop a love for running as an adult and go on to complete three full marathons and three half marathons (with no intention of stopping), she would have laughed out loud. My journey in running has introduced me to an incredibly supportive community, has strengthened my physical, emotional, and mental endurance, and has shown me that, with hard work, I am capable of surpassing my perceived limits.

Here's a secret they don't tell you: Running can be FUN if you try (really) hard!

Want to know more?

Trust me, there's a lot more that I can tell you... I'm happily married, am learning Norwegian, love to make people laugh, spend my free time doing arts and crafts of all kinds, enjoy watching NFL (Go Pittsburgh Steelers) and college (Go Baylor Bears) football, only drink my coffee iced, and want to travel the world. Oh, and when we meet, make sure you ask about my crazy cat Dwight. (Dwight makes a cameo in one of my case studies - see if you can track him down!)

But most importantly, I want to know how I can help you and your business. So let's meet, get to know each other, and start solving problems together.
